A Search settings field at the top of the page jumps straight to an option by name or keyword. Options you have changed show Undo changes next to them.

General
Appearance
Controls the theme mode (System / Light / Dark), window zoom (75%–200%), the size and weight of the Interface font and Code font, Reduced motion, and High contrast. The code font also applies to code blocks, the integrated editor, and the terminal. Theme is chosen with three preview cards — System, Light, and Dark — each painting a miniature workbench in the palette that mode resolves to. Light theme and Dark theme are independent dropdowns that show the swatch and the theme’s name both closed and open. Twenty ship built in: Vibex Light, Catppuccin Latte, Gruvbox Light, Solarized Light, GitHub Light, Rosé Pine Dawn, Everforest Light, Ayu Light, One Light, and Kanagawa Lotus for light; Vibex Dark, Catppuccin Mocha, Gruvbox Dark, Tokyo Night, Nord, Rosé Pine, Everforest Dark, Ayu Dark, Dracula, and Kanagawa Wave for dark. You can extend the list with a JSON theme file in thethemes folder of the runtime home; name only the colors you want to change and the rest are derived from the surface they are painted on.
Fonts are listed from those installed on the system, with a fallback when one is missing.
Workbench
Session
Controls the conversation content width (Narrow / Standard / Full width), the timeline entry display (Session preview rail, Agent generation status, Reasoning display, Expand reasoning by default, Command card rendering, File edit card rendering), and message queue behavior:- Queue sending — Automatic or Manual.
- Message send key — Enter or Cmd/Ctrl+Enter.
- Auto-continue — Let eligible turns advance on their own; when a turn cannot continue, it stops and waits for you.
- Agent notifications — The Agent completed, Agent needs input, and Agent failed toggles, moved here from General. They are unavailable while the System notifications master switch is off.
- Remembered runtime / Auto-continue defaults — Clear remembered choices.
Terminal
Set the default shell and the starting directory for new terminals (Worktree / Project / Current file).- The default shell can be picked from the shells detected on your system, or you can specify a custom path.
- Open terminals do not move when you change this preference.
- The scrollback buffer is fixed at 10000 lines and is not configurable.
Shortcuts
All rebindable shortcuts, their default keys, and their groups are listed in the shortcuts reference. Here you can change them one by one, Reset a single shortcut, or Reset all to restore every default. Conflicting key bindings are rejected with Shortcut is invalid or already in use.Data & Diagnostics
Shows local storage usage broken down by category (database, sessions, terminals, attachments, diagnostics, Agent installations) and offers a cleanup entry point for each:About
Shows the current version and channel (Preview / ReleaseCandidate / Stable), platform information, and license, and offers:- Software update — Update status and action buttons (Check now / Download / Install update / Restart now / Open release / Retry). Update manifests are signature-verified; a build that fails verification is never installed. The card also lists Latest version, Published, and Download size, and renders that release’s notes as Markdown under What’s new in Vibex; with nothing newer available it shows the installed version’s notes instead.
- Environment summary — Copyable, non-sensitive environment information. Include it when you report a problem.
- Source code / Release notes — Links to the repository and release notes.
